Trash hauler cited by East Whiteland Township

East Whiteland Township has issued non-traffic citations to AJ Blosenski and its parent company, Waste Connections, in the wake of multiple and continued violations of the township code. Scott Lambert, chairman of the board of supervisors, said the township is actively monitoring trash collection following complaints about trash not being picked up in a timely manner. Lambert referenced the township’s solid waste and recycling ordinance that requires weekly pickup of trash. Blosenski, based in Elverson, apologized to customers for service interruptions, noting the delays were due to staff shortages. Company officials said they are aggressively hiring and training trash collectors. Residents of East Whiteland Township can report trash collections to the township via email at publiccomment@eastwhiteland.org.
